Czech Republic License Plate Format
Czech Republic uses two valid systems: current system since 2001 with regional letter codes, and older 1960-2001 Czechoslovak system with district codes. First letter represents region (kraj), followed by alphanumeric series starting from 1×0 0001. Blue EU strip with “CZ” and stars added since 2004 EU accession. Since 2015, registration numbers no longer change with owner relocation.
