Turkmenistan License Plate Format
Turkmenistan registration plates are rectangular with black text on white background. The left side features the Turkmen flag with country code “TM” below it. Plates use a mix of DIN 1451 and the unnamed font formerly used on French registration plates. Current system introduced in 1994, switching from Cyrillic to Latin alphabet to comply with international norms.
