Monaco License Plate Format
Number plates of Monaco are used to identify registered vehicles in Monaco. Plates are 260×110 millimeters, making them significantly smaller than most other European countries, and contain four numbers and/or letters. Number plates have blue font on white background and have coat of arms of Monaco on left side with country code MC below. Rear plates also contain annum number to attest that tax has been paid between coat of arms and country code and “Principauté de Monaco” (Principality of Monaco in French) in blue below serial. All plates starting with 000 belong to family of Albert II, Prince of Monaco.
