IndustrialCortex.ai at IN.SE.CON 2026: How AI Supports Digital Sovereignty
Taking part in this year’s edition of the IN.SE.CON 2026 congress in Poznań — co-organized by the Ministry of National Defence and Grupa MTP — was not only an opportunity to present IndustrialCortex.ai’s technology, but above all a chance to test our solutions against the real needs of the security and defence sector.

AI and Cybersecurity — A Common Foundation
One of the clear conclusions from the congress is the growing role of integrating artificial intelligence with cybersecurity systems. In practice, this means moving away from a reactive approach toward systems capable of:
- Detecting events and anomalies in real time
- Automatically analyzing visual and sensor data
- Supporting operators in decision-making
This is exactly the area where we are developing our solutions — combining Computer Vision with advanced AI models for image analysis in the context of critical infrastructure protection and defence applications.
What We Showed in Practice
During the event, we presented an approach based on real-time image analysis that supports surveillance systems in environments with limited data accessibility (Edge AI). The ability to process data locally — without having to send it to external clouds — drew particular interest from representatives of public administration, especially in the context of data security and reducing dependence on external technology providers.
Our competencies in the area of X-ray image analysis for industrial applications drew particular interest from congress participants, including representatives of ministries and industry.
The use of AI for automatic interpretation of X-ray images enables:
- Support for defence production quality: detection of structural micro-defects that are invisible to the human eye but critical to the reliability of military equipment.
- Optimization of production processes: shortening inspection time while maintaining the highest safety standards.
- Minimization of human error: automation of repetitive and demanding analytical processes.
Conversations with the Public Sector and Industry
A significant value of the event was the opportunity for direct conversations with representatives of public administration and key market players.
- Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ): We exchanged perspectives on deploying advanced analytics in defence production systems, focusing on dual-use scenarios.
- Academic community: Meetings with representatives of the Military University of Technology (WAT) and the Polish Naval Academy (AMW) confirmed that cooperation at the intersection of science and business is crucial for testing technologies under operational conditions.
The takeaway: Representatives of ministries and the military clearly understand that the future lies in technologies that combine vision systems with AI — protecting both the front line and strategic critical infrastructure.
Digital Sovereignty in Practice
For us, “digital sovereignty” is not just a slogan but a concrete set of technological requirements:
- Control over data and its local processing
- Independence from foreign suppliers of key AI components
- The ability to freely develop our own analytical models
What’s Next
We are returning from Poznań with concrete conclusions and new partnerships. The coming months will be dedicated to developing our technology and further testing in operational environments, in order to genuinely support the state’s digital resilience.
